Hi All, where do I begin, my health issues continue as always, first I'll begin with my back, I had my appointment with the new neuro-surgeon I saw him this morning, and wow! I wish I had gone to him sooner, the first time that any doctor has explained to me in great detail all that is going wrong with me.
First off, my neck fusions look great, yippee......the only problem that he saw with my neck is the level above my fusions is starting to show some minor problems, nothing that means surgical intervention. Second my lurabar area is all degenerated, good thing is I have no disc herniations no broken bones yippeee again...........................not good on the degeneration. Thirdly, the rest of my back is degenerating.
So all in all my whole back is degenerating and given the fact that I degenerate at a quick pace I'm to have x-rays and MRI scans done periodically to always keep an eye on this.
He thinks given the fact with all that with my structure not being all that great that it has also inflamed all my muscles in the areas and having both issues this is why I'm in pain.
He wants me to get x-rays done where they will have me bend in all directions to make sure that there is no bone that is being moved over a nerve and causing me issues. I'm also to go to a rehabilitation specialist he feels that this is my best avenue as of right now.
He didn't even manipulate my back cause he said that if he did he knows what I would be like later on today, AMAZING, no other doc ever gave thought to not doing that to me ever, I really wanted to get up and hug this guy for realizing that. He also said that there could be a possibility that I could have a double crush syndrome going on, even tho I've had the ulnar nerve surgeries, he said that the ulnar nerve runs all the way up to the neck and that can still be a part of my problems.
So on-ward to my ct-scans results that I got back, it did show the degeneration in my lower lurabar and facet joints, plus I have a cyst on my right ovary that neeRAB to be looked at of which I'm taking care of this tomorrow, plus I have cysts in my liver I don't know what this means I'll find out more about that next week.
The drive down today took me 2 hours due to the heavy volume this morning in rush hour traffic and with all of that I'm in pain plus burning like crazy, he is sending a report to my family physician and then I'm to follow up with them and go from there, it's being done this way because it's just so much closer to home for me.
This doctor was so nice, so gentle so understanding, I couldn't believe it, he acknowledged what I have going wrong, not like my other neuro-surgeon who said to me I'm fine when all reports read other-wise.
I'm still battling my on-going immune problems which are not under control jsut yet, but hopefully they will be soon, this is why I'm not on here much I've jsut been too tired.
Think about you all, all the time.
You all take care.
