Their new server has all of the groups, previously it had a limited amount.
Speeds max my broadband out. I get around 1.25 MB/s
I can't comment on retention as I download stuff fairly quickly.
It's included in the price of broadbands so no extra charge.
No download limits that I've ever seen.

with newshosting i get a steady 1780 kbs or so on grabit, using the virgin media i was hitting 2200 on the xbox games last night.

was thinking of getting virgin media for tinternet and tv and if there usenet access is decent im sold.
It will be shiter than your Be mate.
Virgin limit stuff in some areas with high broadband saturation.
