After countless pieces of misinformation I have come to the conclusion that there is in fact no untethered JB for 5.0 on a 3rd gen iPod touch. However, now iOS 5.1 is out and I can't simply update to 5.0.1 via iTunes.
Yet, I was using tiny umbrella today to download SHSH blobs and I noticed that it downloaded blobs from iOS 4.0, 4.0.2 ect. But when I had downloaded the blobs the device was on iOS 5
So I am wondering, can I update to 5.1 use Tiny Umbrella to save blobs for 5.0.1 and then downgrade to 5.0.1 and JB?
