Not so fast, Mark Kelly. Two weeks after Gabby Giffords' husband made the most publicized gun purchase of the year, the Diamondback Police Supply gun store has decided to give him a refund instead of an AR-15 rifle. " determined that was in my company's best interest to terminate this transaction," owner Doug MacKinlay wrote on Facebook. "[Kelly] … made it clear that his intent in purchasing the … rifle from us was for reasons other than for his personal use." Kelly, who was apparently trying to make a point about how easy it is to buy guns, will get his money back; the rifle was given to the Arizona Tactical Officers Association to use in a fundraiser. MacKinlay also donated $1,295 (the rifle's value) to the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program. [Source]
