[Update]Gonzo to Downsize/Absorbed by Parent Company

I don't mind when the story is changed because of necessity (the first FMA series) but GONZO liberally altered plots to the point where their only relationship to the manga and novels they were based on were character names and appearances. Sometimes even the personalities didn't make it through intact in some of the adaptations.

The way they messed with Chrono Crusade and Black Cat particularly rankles me.

Having read through the Black Cat manga all the way, I honestly liked the changes they made. With the exception of the rushed ending (what with the production order cut drastically short mid production), I enjoyed how it was a shonen series that didn't feel the need to drag out storylines, and having it breeze by without losing the energy of the first episode.
 
I actually liked it's second season better, because I have to admit, it was pretty funny.

Oh yeah, I read the manga, and it kinda bored me.

Not only is Gonzo being absorbed, but it; parent company, GDH, will take the Gonzo name as it's own
