Hey, i have an old 3200 and its full of bugs so i need to update the f/w on it, so i was wondering is it possible to update it using a Nokia DKU-5 cable?!

Becuase its out of its warranty and i dont want to spend much money on it!

If i can use a Nokia DKU-5 cable, wat software etc do i need?

Thanks

its pretty old now nearly a year i think, came out last october, about den! d s/w i have now is 3.08 u can get 4.12 here in europe now!

So it's a 9-months old model and You can update its firmware at a Nokia Service Point. Don't you have 1-year license..??

It's easiest to update this way than to try do it yourself...

I did have the one year warranty but i got LED's added and some stuff like that, so the warranty is void now!

But iv looked up on da net and it seems 2 much bother to do it myself, so im just gonna go to da service point, dey said they will do it but ill have to pay

LED's added & other Stuff...like what..?? What's this LED..??

You're right...it's very difficult to do it yourself...You need special cable and the firmware file...the program is easy to find it..(I have it) but it doesn't work without the first two items...

In Greece I think that firmware update costs 15 Euros...

can you not update the firmware through IR? And the 3200 isn't that old it only came out Oct Nov last year, it's less than a year old!
