UP - The new Pixar

I was on the imdb boarRAB and a lot of people were saying how they didn't feel it was one of pixar's best films, just cause the critics say is great don't mean everyone else thinks it is.

Personally i haven't seen it so i am not gonna judge it.

Don't forget that some people don't know they're born... Wall-E is such an amazing film and yet LOARAB of people didn't get it. The same is probably going to apply here with Up. Some viewers don't want a film to have any kind of message apart from 'blowing things up is good', hence Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

Ahhh I loved WALL-E... Can't wait for the next Pixar, but it has a lot to live "Up" to.

Toy Story 3 already has me on the edge of my seat with anticipation too, I really hope they don't delay the release for that too :(

Up was much better than I was expecting from the trailers. My only criticism might be that it would be slow paced for some children, but they at least seem to enjoy the scenes with cute animals.

It was very emotional. The adults are likely to cry, but most young children won't be affected by it on the same level. One little girl sitting near me did start to cry and had to leave, but it was in a tense scene with dogs barking rather than one of the scenes that was more emotional for adults.
