Up Lifting Movies Please!?

After watching up in the air and a single man feel I defo need an uplifting/funny movie.

Any recommendations?

Dont think I could cope with any more tears :D
 
For me the most uplifting movies are the ones that take you to the pits of despair first, perhaps that's not what you're after though. :)
 
Well for me personally, the ultimate is probably The Shawshank Redemption, but everyone has seen that 26 times haven't they?

+1 for Little Miss Sunshine too.
 
Life is Beautiful. That's a rollercoaster ride of emotions that leaves you uplifted at the end...if you can handle an Italian language film with subtitles.

Also...Amelie...but that's French with subtitles.

Love Actually always puts a smile on my face, as does Napoleon Dynamite.
 
don't laugh but the most uplifting film i've seen recently is "Anvil-The Story of Anvil", documentary about a failed Canadian Heavy Metal band.:D
 
must admit, I never tire of 'Lost in Translation'. 'Slumdog Millionaire' or 'Some Like it Hot'. I can, and do, watch them again and again. In the case of Some Like it Hot, I still find I'm laughing at lines I've never heard before because I've been too busy laughing at the line before...
