if you are reading this.
1- Realtime Speed Display
2- Drag and Drop NZB to app
3- Add some vertical separators between the Icon collections

also... the speed fluctuates wildly.
trying it seconds later in altbinz, and its smooth as butter (in other words its not my connection)..

Have you had a look at traditional clients like AltBinz or GrabIt. Features on these two apps are basic but still enough to get you by. The ability to delete a part should be almost standard. Add this feature and this app might be worth talking about.

Hello,Looks like Unzbin could become something really great

I got the new latest rc 1.7 and its working great, par2 and unrar works fast.

But the ? is its all ready rc 1.7 under which stone they have been hiding this gem,i took a look in the forum
and its only about 2 weeks old,so if anyone has information on that pass it on.

Has anyone tried this one so far?
Looks good, a bit like utorrent for .NZBs.

The official site: http://www.unzbin.com/

I've been using it for a couple weeks and its fine. Just a question. Anyone know if you can clean up the folder naming. I keep getting folders like this, "354-Book of Eli 720p wiki"

It bugs me that the numbers are in front of all the release name. Not a deal breaker but hopefully they fix it.

Stil looking for a newsreader that sips cpu cycles like utorrent. I guess it must be the decoding process they have to use. Even with a 3.2 ghz dual core my cpu is always around 25-30% when downloading.
Anyone?

@ Cabalo I agree, pretty straight forward.

Yah thats just lame, better to save and double click but even that is painful. :ermm: Im sure they will have auto import like all the rest very soon.

I think this got implemented:

* Multi server support
* Enable/Disable individual servers
* Full SSL support
* Multiple downloads
* Prioritize your downloads
* Smart downloading (pause Par files untill needed)
* Pause/Resume/Remove individual parts
* Pause/Resume all downloads
* Sort individual parts
* Automatic validation/repair
* Automatic unpacking of archives to any folder you choose
* Powerful download schedule
* Automated import folder
* RSS/ATOM support + regular expressions + automatic download
* HeapDisQ Technology - Stores downloaded segments in memory instead of disk (internal ram disk)
* Full Yenc support
* UUencode support
* Base64 Support

It is < 2 weeks old, they just have a fast release cycle (Release early, release often) or so it appears.

Then I'll give it a shot later tonight.. ty.

They released 2.3.5 today, I've tried it out and works amazingly fast.

Release Notes:
+ Sortable downloads (download priority)
+ Sortable parts
+ Individual parts can now be paused/resumed/deleted (context menu)
+ Improved decoding speed
+ Improved validation/repair & unpack
+ Many layout changes
+ Display bugs fixed (hope we've nailed them all)
+ Minor bug fixes

Maybe something to try... Only thing it seems to be missing for my use is that auto import thingie you get with Altbinz so you don't have to open the NZB files.
Would like to get rid of the nazi protection that Albinz use too :P
