unusual recipe for slow cooked lamb shanks?

i need a different recipe for lamb shanks done in my slow cooker,
i usually do them with a bit of a tomato type sauce, rosemary, garlic and vegies etc... im wanting something different but still done in the slow cooker.....????
any ideas? :) thanx in advance!
