I started using birth control pills two weeks ago (May 2 to be exact). I got it because my boyfriend and I want to experience natural sex. We got tested for Sexually Transmitted Diseases in February and we both came out negative. We took each others virginity so we weren't surprised. Neither of us were never with any other person. I want to know when it will safe for me to try sex without condoms. The instructions on my birth control (Microgestin Fe 1/20) say it is effective after a week of using it properly which means I take it at the same time every day, I dont take other medications that can prevent it from working, I dont throw up or have diarreah. I haven't had any of these things and I have been taking it at the same time every day. Other people tell me its safe after a month and yet other people tell me it safe after three months. Who is correct? I just want to be safe.
