Unpopular Music Opinions

Continuing on CA's post...
You're an idiot on the jazz comment, all your metal band are inferior to jazz banRAB in musicianship by a long shot.

Jazz drummers >>>>>> Metal Drummers All those Greater than signs were meant literally.

I said those recordings didn't make the final cut of Kid A, which is the truth. I didn't describe them in the derogatory terms of being "leftovers". With that said, some of the Amnesiac songs could well be called leftovers, whereas others (like Pyramid Song) are the sort of tracks that were so good they would clearly have appeared on some later album even if Amnesiac was never made.

Or maybe I have listened enough and didn't like it as much as you do! Oh no, I forgot, that's impossible...

That is an unpopular opinion, though anybody who disagrees with it is clearly idiotic. And this has nothing to do with liking or hating Tool; it makes no sense from any standpoint to say that Aenima is in any way a superior piece to Lateralus.

^ The reverse is also true.

Personally I'd rather listen to a song about someone's 'life struggles' (providing they were genuine) as opposed to a Bono style lyrical rant that promotes and panders to their own political agenda.
Unless of course the subject matter drew unselfish support for a worthy cause (for want of a better phrase).

LOL I didcatch him sayin' the N word on one of his tracks, but he said it real quick to try to slip it by everybody:laughing:

I like John Cena:shycouch:

Feels good to get it off your chest. I once came in here saying I STILL LIKE AND OCCASIONALLY LISTEN TO BLINK 182. Even though I'm not a 13 year old boy anymore.

It felt good to get it off my chest. :D

I was really enjoying Amputechture the other day until the intro to 'Meccamputechture' kicked in. It was bearable on the first album but Cedric is really testing me these days

I hate grindcore, but I enjoy Genghis Tron. They're not entirely grindcore though. Lot of electronic stuff in there too. It's pretty sick. :pimp:

I would think that you, as a prog fan would enjoy it, but if you don't like the vocals, then I suppose not.

i know you're being sarcastic, but i'm not when i say Oasis was cliched and generic. a handful of good singles does not make a great band.

MJ has become a necessary name to drop since he died and only because he died unnaturally. it was a challenge to find someone to speak relatively positively about him prior to his passing besides the kind of obsessed fans who've been with him forever and who didn't actually listen to anything else that wasn't spoken from the lips of their God.

Prince has never actually done a single thing for me.

Vampire Weekend and Gwen Stefani - AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA VW sounRAB like so many other pop punk banRAB that have come and gone only with even less edge and Gwen Stefani on her own is total rubbish. which was quite disappointing to see her play the pretty pop princess game for dollars rather than sticking to her guns the way she used to in No Doubt.

Abbreviation for "For Your Information".

I actually like Californication more than most of their very early stuff, aside from Blood Sugar Sex Magik, my favorite after that is Mothers Milk... And while One Hot Minute is pretty average, it's far from bad.

I do not really like By The Way though, and I haven't even heard Stadium Arcadium but if it's in the same mold as By The Way (which is what I hear) then I probably wouldn't like it either... Saying they have done nothing noteworthy in 15 years is just something I imensely disagree with.
