dev team can't release a box, they're cracking the OS to do the JB and unlock, what is meant by " BOX " is like the BB-BOX (blackberry) to have it factory unlocked it reads your IMEI sends it to the servers, then to apple, and you get your iphone factory unlocked via itunes, just like you can use a server to unlock iphones from australia or UK..

as for the dev team, they will still be releasing jailbreaks so yh..
 
It is a stupid argument, having a box for a phone doesn't mean it has full support for every new protection they do...

Even if I have many boxes for Nokia (UB, JAF, HWK) doesn't mean I can unlock every nokia (SL3) just because the software has a "BOX" or protection dongle. Can you?

Unlocking phones means bypassing or cracking their protection and it doesn't depends having a box or a payed software or no, it depends on the level of protection and the skills of the cracker. Putting the crack freely on the web, or selling it with some kind of magic box is another story...
 
Yes but It should be release from dev-team with some logs system, because now a day end users are doing well this job even some time free. So i think it should be some dificult method or the software should protacted with pkey dongle or hardware id etc.

i got a good idea maybe our iphone will activate via server base
and we will use a program like itune but it will connect to private server to unlock and activate even install apps lol
 
Better Poll if you ask 4 someone to hack apple server thats the only way you will be able to TRULLY unlock an "Iphonings"

it might be possible if iphone dev need key to access their dongle or smartcard key but not boxe since this opeate only with cable and original software from iphone, only possible for chinese clone iphone!! heheeee
 
agree if it will make unlock faster and updated daley thats the only way
