Only other way would be to take it to a phone unlocking shop, or your operator. Your operator is not the best option, as you will probably end up paying a considerable bit to have it unlocked, but a phone shop with the right equptment should be able to do it for just a small fee. The VKP patch would be your best bet though if you wanted to do it free, but make sure that you know what you're doing.
