Im trying to unlock the iphone 2g running v3.1.3, i load the ipsw file to red snow, but i all ways a get an error about the ipsw not being recognised

use 3.1.2 fw in redsn0w 0.9.4 then u will jailbrek ur iphone

redsn0w recognise the 3.1.2 version not 3.1.3

First restore ur iphone to iPhone1_1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore
second use Redsnow 9.4
mark cydia as well as unlock ic in redsnow
then follow redsnow instructions to enter Dfu mode
if u succeed, congratulation ,ur iphone is already jailbreak

i cant restore it in itunes, i keep getting wrror 14.

here is quick guide for you brother...
Restore with 3.1.3 firmware using itunes.
Jailbreak with Redsnow 9.4 and select 3.1.2 firmware
and follow steps of redsnow for unlock...
