Unlocking Siemens A62

Search for A62 testpoint and you will see what he means.

There is one track on PCB which needs to be cut
 
Thanks Chris02 - as a first timer where should I search for A62 testpoint?

Should a novice be considering cutting a PCB track?
 
Check this pic:


cut the red line (it is in 2nd layer, you won't see it)

and don't cut the blue one! If you will cut the blu one your phone is dead!

I still haven't worked out how to get the covers off - I have seen a review which mentioned Changeable Covers - A60 was easy.........

When I do I will cut the red wire
 
but be very careful because when you are a beginer it is very easy to damage the hand set by cuting the wrong tracks when you cut the tp too deep it can affect the key board so care is important

i NEED TO UNLOCK A62 my quessionis that,

this test point look just like that of A60 are they both the same?

please help or is it my mistake?

You are wrong, my friend! It will work with MC60 testpoint, but it will work also with A60/C60 testpoint!
Tested and 100% working with A60/C60 testpoint!

It seems you have so much to learn!!!
 
u are right about learning, but TP is not 100% same like on C60. Small diferent in lines, and in A62 there are 2 lines on the place where need to cut, and more difficult to cut, then it is on C60. Take the board and look through with strong light source, and u will see what i am talking about!

I am sorry, but I did not want to say anything bad for expert Chris02 or anybody else, just try to worn and share experience.

and One thing More Does Phone Software Version , Flash Chip Type Puts any Special Diffrence?

You are right, after all... For good testpoint, you must hold the PCB in front of a strong light, and you will see the lines.. Only one line must be cutted! You can do that cut with a surgical needle!

You must use testpoint.. After testpoint, Bootcore Bug or Normal mode will have the same results! Bootcore Bug can be used with old version of phones without TestPoint (Like A50 under v10, od A55 under v11)
