Unlocking Nokia 6682

I have a Nokia 6682 that came from England. i am unable to use it as the network is locked. when i put a sim card in it it say sim card not valid. i friend of mine menitoned something about some network code or something. can any one give me any help as how tp get this unlocked.
 
Please Post The Network And Country It Was Locked To Originally And The Imei Which You Can Get By Pressing *#06#
