unlocking Audiovox CDMA cell phones

Hello,

I have an Audiovox CDM-9100 cell phone currently on Bell Canada. I want to unlock it and use with some other carrier, say Virgin mobiles. Please tell me how to go about it ... :confused2

Unless you know someone at VM that will bend the rules for you, they refuse to activate non-VM branded phones.

Is it even possible to unlock a Verizon phone? My boss has set me to this task, and I'm just learning.

If you mean an 8910, then I'm not certain about switching carriers while retaining VZ 8910 f/w, but a full flash has apparently been accomplished. (to Cricket)

They have to be unlocked. Each carrier locks the phones to their signal, so in order for you to use it on a different carrier, you have to get it unlocked. So far, none of the answers given in the forum has helped me. There must be someone out there who can direct us to a particular site or individual who can provide more detailed information about do-it-yourself unlocking.
