I was able to unlock a 7130 model BB... did everything except for VSM file (didn't have one)... still unlocked. Thanx!

When trying to load the VSM after unlocking the phone using a Bold and MML version 2.0.1.3, I fail to the error: "feature not supported by firmware version command 0xff3a"
can anyone help rectify this?

yes it worked on two of my bberrys from verizon and alltel so yes !! It does

I did everything step by step.
Now edge is not as it was EDGE, and my bb messenger does not work.

Problem solved!
After reinstalling the OS my bb was not registered in the network, so I call T-mobile and they did it. Now got the EDGE and bb messenger working great!!! So make sure you REGISTER your bb in the network you use.

Has anyone gotten an "Attemted to read or write protected memory. This is ofetn an indication that other memory is corrupt." error when you connect your BB to MFI ML???

Hello, i did as was said in the forum:

1) I installed MMLSetup
2) I extracted MML and pasted all the files on C:/MML/ and overwrote files in that folder
3) I disabled internet and did the next step with MFI but i didnt see "fail" on the screen and when program said to disconnect device, there was number 1 on bold screen.
4) i then cleared MEP and loaded VSM "VSM-11697-001M"
5) The phone then said device in cal mode!!

Please help???
