My friend got a palm pre from another guy who didnt want it anymore. He says he wiped it clean and he was trying to sell it. When he gave it to me it just kept asking me to make a new profile. Anyways, I took some steps to unlock this phone and bypass all that. I unlocked the phone expecting it to be able to see the apps that it already had pre installed but that is it since its not signed up to any carrier yet. The surprise was that I unlocked it, but it already had a verizon service! It fully works and even has a number. The number is not the previous owners number. I tried looking up the number online but every service to look up a number costs money that I dont want to waste. Anyone had any clue on whats going on???
