Unlock Siemens C55

From e-bay, I have bought a special unlock cable and a copy of v 4.0 FREE EDITION of SST. If I choose any of the main service functions it starts to run but nothing happens, there is nothing in the progress bar. Trying to unlock a O2 phone to use with Vodaphone. Please can you advise anything ? Thanks

well if you re going start unlocking you have to read all about it in this forum
