unlock & repair a62

well i guess i found on the forum that an external power must be attached to pin 9 and the unlock wth logger and logger dcrypter
well here is how i did i just need someone the comfirm its correctness for me pls.
well i am using a regular c55 com cable. on opening the cable could see pin 1 idle with pin2-4 connected to the cable. from pin 1(idle pin) i counted to pin9 and atteced a power cable with a crockodile clip at the end, while leaving the other 3 pins remaining.
reassemble the cable and tested. connected the cable to a dc power source and placed cable on my tongue with 5 volts and i felt the voltage as i placed my finger on the negative terminal of the D.C source.

i was informed that i am now to supply 12 volts to the cable via the atteched power cable b4 i can use it for logger.

pls someone confirm or correct this so i can unlock these phones

Hi I tested it with A62 ... first I flashed it with software No.06 lg.03, then cut as C60 (the line is nice visible under the spotlight), then I used Freia and C60 Direct unlock, my phone flash type was 0c01 but after unlock worked o.k. so I didn't have to write eeprom
 
Use search to find a pic! You need to solder one wire from track that comes from under CPU to the key.

BTW: When you write PMs it makes sense when you will also write what are you talking about! Not only Explain me.....
 
A62 Unlock
I use a62 test point from Siemens_TP_selector_v1.0 & unlock in Freia 15
I select model A60 . Unlock successful.
A62 Unlock Successful.
