well ive had the phone for 1 yr and took the sim out and put it back in and now it asks for a special code and dont know what it is if anyone could help its 8 digits and 0000000 did not work and neither did 12345678

try 000000 that is the default code, you can always find your code by using a cable and rss software, or if you enter the wrong code 3 times it will ask you for a puk code, when that happens dont try anything just call nextel and they will give you the puk code, but be carefull entering the wronbg puk code a couple of timed will disable your sim card and you would need to buy a new one

I see that you edited your original message, that its 8 numbers and that you tried 000000, well it sound more like a sp lock (a lock that they put so you cant change providers) are you sure you put back your original sim card not a new one, because if you want to change providers, for example if you got a boost and want to use nextel, you will have to unlock your phone, I can help if you got a cable

this is an interesting situation that has happened a handful of times at our ASC. you need to either email me your cp and i'll take care of it or you can take it to your local nrs or asc and have them quick swap it.
