Unlock and Jailbreak iPhone 3G?

I'm running 4.0 jailbreak from redsnow at the moment with baseband 05.13.04. I needed to know if it is possible to update to either 4.1 or 4.2.1 with a Jailbreak and Unlock. If its an untethered jailbreak it would be ideal. Also please help me with download links and guides.
