Hey Guys,

i'm going to be traveling in asia and will be on world class roaming [i'm not staying in any one country for enough days to justify local simcards with data] .

does T-mobile offer unlimited world wide data in a hidden plan somewhere? or will I _have_ to pay by the kilobit.

Thanks

ya what andrebsd said...better than the alternative even if it's only for a days use @ $20 you'd be a fool to pay per kb...they have same for phone calls too...i always try to call a customer rep first...they'd be best equipped to help you out with those kinds of questions

I called them for the 19.99 international, a while ago. Went to Thailand and all that 19.99 is, is for email usage. Does not include internet from the BB browser.

Ye b warned.

Call CS before just adding it and going abroad. And than having to come back to a 2,000 bill. hahahaha

Not sure where that came from but there is no unlimited voice plan. If you wish to make and receive calls in Asia contact TMO before you leave (seems you have already done that). You can add and delete the international BB plan anytime - it is $19.99 a month and will provide unlimted emails. I was in Europe for 2 weeks and saw no additional charges, however I did not try to browse the web.

There is most definatly a blackberry international plan. all the previous posts are correct the plan is 19.99 a month but dose not require a contract renewal to add it on. Using the phone without the plan will charge you on a per kb rate. I belive it is $15 per mb

Ok I live in Grenada right now and the wireless providers here SUCK! Impossible to talk to. I have just a basic pre-paid # cause anything more involved would probably give me a hernia. HOWEVER, I am totally disconnected from the states unless I am sitting in front of my laptop and its driving me nuts. So I have read on the TMo website a basic unlimited data plan is $29.99/month and then international data is $20/month. Now a couple people have told me that this is just for e-mail, sweet, I dont really browse the internet on my blackberry anyways. Does this $20 include BB messenger? Has anyone used this? Am I going to get a bill in the mail with some hidden fees? Thanks.

T-mob wanted to charge me equiv.$15 mb from turkey (Asia zone). So only opened important enmails, didn't browse and had them disconnect voicemail before I went.Still had a bill $150 over and above my standard tarrifmostly calls(min $6 connection, even for 1 second). That was for 2 weeks. However I can call USA or Europe in my inclusive mins Asia sucks!
