Unknown status bar icon on my Sony Ericsson W995 phone?

After my 11 month old daughter played with my mobile I now have a status bar icon appearing that looks like a grey headset. I have no idea what it is? And when anyone calls me they cannot hear me and I cannot hear them! Can anyone please help me with turning this function off so I can use my phone again? Thanks
