Unknown illness!

My symptoms are, cranky, dry mouth, irritable, moody, feeling down and low, not confident, anxiety, feel weak and tired. When i wake up i get these symptoms if i don't eat within app 30 mins, when i eat these symptoms go away but then come back after app 2.5 to 3 hours later. I then eat again and the symptoms go away and so on. My blood tests at the doctor's show i'm not diabetic and my kidneys are fine and other things are fine for a 42 year old male. But the tests show a slight abnormality in my liver so the doctor asks how much alcohol i consume a week which is a little over, so i'm off the alcohol for a short time but i still get the symptoms. After reading online i just wonder if i have an issue with coffee as i consume every day about 2 very very large cups of proper filter coffee in about 30 mins and then none until the next day. So now i'm off the coffee too and if there's no change i'm going back to the doctor's. Can anyone give me some feed back please on what they might think what's wrong? Just wanted to add that my weght is always up and down with dieting, and with dieting i normally drink coffee and alcohol.

Alcohol is a depressant. If you are consuming more than a couple drinks per day, you may have issues with that. Also, it's not healthy for your body in many ways: heart, blood pressure, psyche, liver, and weight. I'd urge you to have blood tests for not only diabetes, but hypoglycemia, thyroid, and liver function. Stay off the alcohol for a month and repeat the tests. A good doctor will be able to help you with all this and put the pieces of the puzzle together. It's time to take care of yourself. If you can't stop drinking, you may need outside help such as AA. Don't be ashamed--the first step is admitting a problem and doing something about it. You deserve it!

I'm on the road to recovery! It turns out that it was the coffee after all as my symptoms are clearing up. I don't crash and don't need to eat every two hours now,my irritable feelings are going too, i generally feel much better now. Iv'e been totaly off the coffee for ten days, i do get minor headaches but that is expected.
