Unit comes on unexpectedly (T/X)

Just got it yesterday.

Sometimes (not always) unit comes on when I move it or tap the back or just close the cover. I can control it with keyboard lock, but would hate to have to do that all the time.

It should not come on simply by touching the back......I'd exchange it.

I had the same problem with my TX and solved it by activating the Keylock feature. Haven't had the problem since. I don't think you have a bad unit.

Activate the keylock, it is only two more seconds turining it on (power, and then touch a button on the screen)

my tx seems to turn on too. this is my 2nd unit as my first one was defective. even with the keylock on, it still seems to turn itself on when i move it around (although somewhat rapidly).

can you guys try "shaking" your tx and see if they turn on too?

my concern is that while it's in my pockets, it'll be turning itself on while i'm doing my activities.

Shaking or tapping the unit does not seem to cause my TX to turn on.

mine seems to do weird things at random times. today in class, i noticed that it would turn itself on and off randomly. especially when i pick it up and move it. after a while, it stopped doing it.

also, sometimes, after turning it on, it won't register any screen taps to unlock it. is this a very common problem?

Hi mine has done that too but would always stop with the keylock or it would just pop back on then go off in the 2 mins. Never drained the battery. Kinda annoying but not too bad. I wouldn't exchange it. Probably you installed.
