Unistall Program

I went to the applications manager and selected the program I wanted to remove from the phone and selected "remove".

funny thing is that when I go back to the applications setting, I still see the program that I had just removed.

is there a way to remove the application permanently?

Is it installed on the memory card? I had one that wouldn't uninstall on my memory card. I had to take the memory card out of the phone, put it in my card reader, search for it, and then delete it.

(It was in a protected folder that Symbian would not allow access to.)

I can't seem to find the exact folder where the program was installed

btw, I noticed a folder names "private" which has three subfolders that are names with a combination of letters and numbers these folders contain "dat" files. Not sure if any of these dat files belong to the program that I want to uninstall as there are no program names attached to it.

I had that problem. I just reformatted the entire memory card and moved all the important stuff back afterwards.
