I have no clue where to put this, so I hope this is the right area. But, I've had this condition since I was in the seventh grade, so about seven years or so. Its hard to explain to someone that hasn't ever seen it happen, but I'll do my best.
I've been experiencing the uncontrollable twitching of my arms/hands for the best seven years. It doesn't hurt when it happens, thankfully. But a number of things happen when I go through this. For one, I can't control anything when it happens. My arms flail about when it happens and I feel like a puppet on a string. Most always my legs give out when it happens too. So, if I'm standing, I almost always fall. I've received several bruises because of this. I've also fallen down a flight of stairs before as well.
My vision goes black as well. Not every time, but it does so quite often. And I forget what I was doing for a few minutes. It takes at least a minute or two for me to remember what I was doing. And when it happens, I get very, very irritated. I can't control the irritation either. Its like someone is pushing on the irritation center of my brain and its just uncontrollable.
I've gotten hurt when it happens, as I've said before. I've fallen downstairs, fallen, hit myself, stabbed myself with a few things. And others do, sometimes, get hurt when they're in distance. I've accident hit a few people when it happens. It's very, very embarrassing when it happens and I have no clue what it could possibly be. Nor do my doctors.
It typically occurs when I'm tired, which is almost all the time. I'm eighteen years old and really don't want to have to go through my whole life without know what this is. More so, if there's a way to possibly control it or cure it. Hopefully someone out there can help me.
