Hi Folks,
I of course do not refer to the fish we all know, either caught personally or commercially.
I "commute" twice a year to the mid-east for a few weeks at a time, and have the loan of a big ski-boat, from which I often drop a hand line with a bit of squid on the hook.
It is most alarming what comes up and thrashes about on the deck for a while.
The local fish souk gives me an idea as to what they catch for consumption, (no cod, plaice, or haddock types !).
So I put together a beach BBQ in remote areas with strange fish on offer, then we all stand around wondering what it is, and should I chuck them on ?
No-one as been ill yet with the big round red ones, or the black mini shark-like things with their gills on top of their head.
Yummy, but what are they ?
Any notions ?
