I was given my grandpa's obituary and bullet casing from his funeral.(He was given a 21 gun salute, he was in the Korean war) I have never met the man. I'm not sad he died, he was very sick. I am sad I never met him. I stare at the bullet, and I try to find out who he was. My dad never really said much of him.
My best friend went into the army the day I got this bullet, Irony? Who knows.
My car seems to be un-fixable and always breaking down. I am falling in love with my best friend, she sees me as a brother. Plus I just got out of a relationship cause I was cheated on. Sigh, things just seem shitty now. Hopefully they will get better soon. Any words of advice guys?
p.s. I just wanted to write this down somewhere.

The best advice I can give you is as follows:

Don't dwell on things that never were. Regretting decisions you never made, or never had the opportunity to make will only cause you misery.

2. Get a new car, unless you can;t then make like the rest of us and deal. Things will get better.

Remember, all things in life are fleeting.

3. Are you sure you aren't just on the rebound? How long were you with that previous girl? How long have you been friends with this girl? Does she know?

4. Wish your buddy good luck, and safe voyages. He's made his choice, and it's the only thing you can do as a good friend.

I have always had feelings for this friend for 5 or so years. I am sure I'm not on the rebound. Well my car getting worked on. And, he called me. He likes the army. Thanks for the advice.
