Within the past week every morning I am having unexplained large bruises show up on my left arm and both legs. A couple of nights ago my left arm went numb. I just experienced a neck injury by lifting something too heavy above my head so I have been taking Ibuprofen every day. Also, I am very busy so I am extremely tired and weak, probably should be eating better and drinking more water along with taking vitamins but I am not doing any of those things. I am a mom of 3 little ones and have a very hectic schedule along with a at home business. Tommorw morning I am going to visit our family practicioner to hopefully get a better explanation than I did today from the walk in clinic. They drew blood, urine test, several spinal x-rays and really gave me no other answer besides that I probably just bumped into a few things without realizing it. Too many large bruises in too short of a time with no recall of it happening does not equal accidents to me-let me know what you think. Worrrying and waiting for a answer........:(

NSAIDs such as ibuprofen can lead to increased bruising, but to be on the safe side make sure your doctor does run some more blood tests. Mineral and vitamin deficiencies/or too high of levels of can make bruising worse and not all of them are checked on standard blood tests.

You need to have your neck more thoroughly checked into if you can too. Preferably by a orthopedic spine specialist (not a surgeon).
