i encrypted a bunch of media files on my old computer by, right click files, select properties, click advance option, select encrypt. the names and display texts of the files then turned green. i got a new computer and decided to retrieve all my data from my old computer and store it on an external hard drive. now when i plug my external hard drive into my new computer and try to access the files a window pops up telling me that its restricted. when i try to unencrypted via the same process i took to encrypt the files, the folders become unencrypted and the individual files are still shown as green text, thus still encrypted. how can i unencrypted everything so i may access it?
