I am a 22 year old 150 pound male, 5ft 9 inches. I have had this problem since November of 2008 every hour of every day since then.
Symptoms
I am experiencing numbness/tingling in both of my hands and feet. It feels like this all over them and not limited to a certain side. This always happens 100 percent of the time when I am not moving them. After a few minutes of absolutely no movement(such as laying down or sitting) I will begin to feel these symptoms. They go away when I move my hands/feet, but return shortly thereafter.
The position of my arms, hands and feet do not affect this in any way.
Tests
I have had blood tests but can't remember all the things that were checked, however it was an extensive list. I do recall glucose levels, B12 and thyroid on there. Nevertheless everything came back fine.
I have been examined by a neurologist and had an emg which showed no problems.
I have also seen a doctor for thoracic outlet syndrome and had a CT scan done which came back negative. The one thing the doctor found upon examination was my pulse disappearing from my wrists when moving my arms and head in certain positions, but that wasn't conclusive enough to give a diagnosis.
Prior medical history
No major diseases or any physical injury of any kind whatsoever
May be related
I have been experiencing finger pain on both hands occasionally for the past few months, as well as sometimes get dizzy when standing up too fast. Not sure if these could be related but thought I'd say so anyway.
EDIT: Wondering if poor circulation can cause this perhaps? Just another thought.
