Underworld: Evolution - January 2006 (Spoilers)

it is my kind of movie too. the dark atmosphere and the small use of sci-fi. i am a huge sci-fi fan, but i like horror movies more, and this is one of the best i have seen :D
 
Evolution did pretty well Worldwide, so I wouldn't be surprisd if there was a third one.

Have there been reports that it's going to come out, or is it just speculation?
 
Well, according to the IMDB filming for Underworld 2 finished March 2005. They're going for a winter release, I believe.
 
In many discussions with Vampire the Masquerade people, it would be applied that Viktor was more of a Brujah clan type Vampire, while Amelia was a Toreador.

Think along the lines of the Blade moves, Overlord Eli Damaskitos wasn't a fightrer at all, he was the head of his clan. To help achieve a balance, Amelia was more likely a wise/inpspiration as opposed to a combat leader. So really, we've no idea what Markus will be.

I'm very excited for the sequel. I loved the first one, even though I mainly just saw it because Scott was in it. But, I ended up really enjoying it. It's my kind of movie, actually. I like a little bit of sci-fi, and I thought it was very stylish. I hope Scott will be in this one more, that's my only request. Has anyone seen any more pics of Scott from the movie?

BTW, those LJ icons are awesome! I snagged one.
 
i'll be getting the dvd Candy. i absolutely LOVED UNDERWORLD:EVOLUTION. i went to see it in the theater 4 times, i thought it was better and more fast paced than the first even though i liked Underworld really well. the second one was more of a love story and i liked that they showed the chemistry between the two main character Selene and Michael. not to mention the action sequences rocked.

i can't wait to get the dvd, i wonder what the third one will be like. i've heard they're going to make one more Underworld movie sometime next year.
 
yea i heard that the prequel will come first rather than the sequel...'cause i bet in the sequel..the creator plans to bring back Marcus...but i think it needs the prequel first to show the history and all...

either way i';m excited for it. :D
 
I hope it's between Michael and Selene.

I can't wait for the movie to come out :)
 
Well, I rented this to give it a second chance.... I found it impossible to finish. I just made some screencaps and returned it. It was terrible.

Yes, there are plans to make a third film but Len Wiseman won't be directing and there's a rumor that Kate doesn't want to do it.
 
You know I recently just bought the first movie on DVD and I really like it! (I have a thing for horro/vampire movies, or just movies in general for htat matter!) But I wouldnt mind seeing a second one!
