Underworld: Evolution - January 2006 (Spoilers)

i got the dvd the other day and i simply love it. i must admit its better on the big screen especially with the action scenes but i love it nonetheless.
 
I just checked imdb.com and saw that it doesn't come out till January next year..... I thought it was sooner than that :lol:
 
I'm glad they've got both Scott and Kate lined up for the sequel. Wouldn't be the same w/o the same cast. :)

I can imagine they could make a really good script and story for both a prequel and a sequel. It's always been a pretty open and flowing story so they can definitely keep going with it :)
 
I read on various sites that The sequel is suppose to start filming in the fall with Kate and Scott and the first 10-20 minutes of the sequel goes back in time to show the history of the war.
 
I just also recently saw the first one on DVD.

It is an underrated movie in my opinion in that it does have high production values, special and visual effects and an interesting back story to the whole Lycane/Vampire War...

But as you all said, it was way underdeveloped and concentrated more on guns, throwing stars and cool, slow-mo Matrix style battles than why there were actually fighting in the first place OR who Scott Speedman's character was supposedly related to.

Has anyone tried Coming Attractions to see if they've got the scoop?

I gurantee you that the producers had a plot once the original hit theaters -- and probably, before that if it is part of a trilogy like most storeis like these are (reagrdless if they make money or not).

It's not like people make stuff up in five minutes and it gets made into a movie... Er, okay, well, not MOST of the time ;)
 
I'd personally wring len wiseman's neck if he took that out. He was apparently excited about adding those scenes so i don't think he'll take it out.
 
that's extactly why i went to c the first movie. and i get all excited whenever a new vampire movie or game is released. i am usually one of the 1st to c or play it (if it's a game).
 
Underworld:Evolution is coming out on dvd June 6th. its going to be the special edition, my guess is that when the third movie gets closer for release they'll bring Evolution out on the extended edition.

Candy- there are reports that Len Wiseman is planning for a third installment and that it will begin shooting in 2007. all i've heard is that Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman will probably be back and that the third one might be a prequel.
 
Yikes! I didn't know there was a sequel!

Mind you if it is linked with the first one then i had better watch the first one!!
Because i have never seen it, as dad had got rid of it unfortunately, but i have always wanted to watch it. :D
 
I really enjoyed this movie so I'm looking forward to the sequel. I hope Scott Speedman is in it.

OMG. I cant wait til this comes out. I hear they were going to make the movie but I really didnt believe it til i saw the pics. I know alot of crities(sp?) didnt like it. I Loved it and i cant wait for more.

I can't wait for UE to be on DVD. Do anyone of u know when it'll be released? I hope the special edition or extended edition (if there is one) comes out same time as the original DVD. But i doubt it :pout:
