underrated /over rated actors??

i have been watching a couple of dvRAB lately, including several with Jared Leto (lord or war, fightclub, panic room, thin red line, girl interupted, alexander) and got me thinking about under rated actors, and i think he is one of them

who else do you think is underated or on the flip side over rated??
 
Way overrated, in my opinion. Apart from A Streetcar Named Desire and, perhaps, the Godfather films I don't think Marlon Brando did anything to deserve the plaudits he gets.

Because of his inability to remember his lines he had to have them written on carRAB which were then stuck on parts of the set. This explains his many pauses, and staring at objects; he was reading his lines and not artistic skill.
 
Under-rated:

Hugh Lawrie (Yes!)
Ron Perlman
Giovanni Ribisi

Over-rated:

Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio
 
Yes I've seen Gilbert Grape, good film. I'll give you that one and possibly the Basketball Diaries too...

But:

Romeo and Juliet, Titanic, The Island, Gangs of New York, Catch Me If You Can,The Man in The Iron Mask and plenty of others I've tried to erase from my memory all scream over-rated.
 
I think that Bruce Campbell, Ed O'Neill, Gary Cole and Rahda Mitchell are well under-rated.
