Underrated Albums

what in your opinion are the most under-rated albums?

for me, The Who Sell Out is hugely underrated as is TNT and '74 Jailbreak by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin III - to me its better than IV/Zoso and Heavy Soul by Paul Weller.

Meddle - Pink Floyd
Piper at the gates of dawn - Pink Floyd
Atom Heart Mother - Pink Floyd
More - Pink Floyd
Houses of the Holy - Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin III - Led Zeppelin

Amnesiac - Radiohead
Odessey and Oracle - The Zorabies
Morning View - Incubus
The Holy Bible - Manic Street Preachers
Relayer - Yes
Tales from Topographic Oceans - Yes

ANd these as well

The La's - The La's
Oasis - Heathen Chemistry
Idlewild - 100 Broken Windows
Idlewild - The Remote Part
The Smiths - Hatful Of Hollow
The Stone Roses - The second coming

Led Zeppelin - Presence

Perhaps not consistent, but has 2 of Zeps best tracks; Achilles' Last Stand & Tea For One, also had 2 other strong tracks (only 7 songs on the album)

David Holmes - Bow Down To The Exit Sign
Martina Topley Bird - Quixotic

And I will keep on saying these to till at least ONE of you bastarRAB checks one of them out.

There isn't a bad track on this album. Honestly.

I'd like to put my two cent's worth in and say any Alice Cooper album from 1969-79.

Oh, sure, he was theatrics and whatnot, but he had a top notch band. Musically, all his albums up until about 'From The Inside' were very sound and really well crafted. Interesting stuff. Some surspisingly subtle nuances from one of the original shock rockers.

Underrated-

1. Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince - "Code Red"
VASTY underrated. It's dope all the way around, a great chill out album. It got caught up wit the emerging "gangster" rap scene so it didn't sell that well, but probably Will Smith/ Jazzy Jeff 's top album. But then you would have to count the classic He's The DJ, I'm the Rapper and Homebase. Well top 2 then.

Prince - Purple Rain, Emancipation
Genesis - Trespass
Michael Jackson - Off the Wall
Joe Jackson - Look Sharp
Frank Zappa - Shut Up and Play yer' Guitar
Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack
Steely Dan - Aja
De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising

Oh you have to it`s his best album.

It`s got rock , funk , hip hop , jazz , electronica ...everything.

And collaberations with people like Bobby Gillespie & Jon Spencer
