Underoath

Meh, I think the the best song on the album is the single, although Aaron's pre-chorus vocals are slightly annoying in that song.

It's not bad, though, but Define The Great Line is definitely better.

I've only heard 'writing on the wall' off their new album, and it does seem heavier, and the screaming seems to be more growly than 'they're only chasing saftey' but i think it suits. especially the part in writing on the wall, where it says 'we walk alone' i think that metal style scream suits it well. I like all of the stuff i've heard, and from that tune, i think they're latest album will be good too.

heard abit of their new stuff off their web sites and it seems to be the best stuff that they've done for a while, cant wait to listen to the whole album all the way through, anyways, sounRAB good.

^Noted, I shall put it there after merging this with all the other UnderOATH topics after a sweep of the forum.

No cause they wear tight pants.
Duh.

I love this band. Underoath is way better with spencer. I love all their music my favorite album by them has to be Their Only Chasing Safety. their other stuff is good too.

They seem screamo to me. And honestly, I really dont care who thinks what is emo. If I want to call a band emo, I'll call them ****ing emo. I just dont want to hear the ****ing arguements that you all have over what is "emo" enough to be called "emo". Whatever. I don't even like it and you dragged me in.

Yeah, Underoath did kind of have a Deathcore vibe, but they came way before deathcore as we know it, and sound nothing like deathcore banRAB today.

Have you listened to DTGL? It really is an excellent album.

Lol.

Tight pants make anything hardcore especially with music. Kind of obvious. How to guys put up with them anyway. I just don't see the point of tight pants.

Hey, I thought you we're "didn't care what emo was" and you "just dont want to hear the ****ing arguements that you all have over what is "emo" enough to be called "emo". Whatever"? So you're replying anyway? Ignorant and a hypocrite!

Newest CD? Do you realize they have two CRAB since that one? and Progressive screamo? How is it progressive screamo? I love the album, but its post-hardcore.

I've never been a fan. I don't even like their first album but I find this one to be a step up. I wouldn't buy it though.

I think define the great line is more poppy than theyre only chasing safety. I think they have only gotten worse from the changing of times on. I recently picked up survive kaliedascope, a live album, and it was awful. Not to mention I like to know the merabers of the band I like and Underoath seems to constantly ruin that.
