Our engine started smoking last night so we opened the hood to investigate with a flashlight. We noticed that in the back on top (I guess what one might consider the underside of the dashboard) you could see some sort of insulation or stuffing. That sounds normal but it wasn't neatly sealed. It looked torn up and descheveled and almost a fire hazard.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is that normal? It's like a pouch with stuffing exposed instead of sealed or closed.
