This is why capitalism is inherently at odds with the American Republic and American Democracy.

In a representative democracy, one person gets one vote.
In capitalism, one dollar = one vote. That is intrinsically anti-democracy.

America must extend its representative democracy to the economy, corporations, and the workplace.
 
That's the way it works now in most countries on this planet.

Because there are more "relative" losers than rich parasites and their flunkies. When the oppressed have nothing to lose they rise up and destroy the system. Or they retreat into apathy and an outside force destroys the system because there is not enough flunkies to watch the rabble and fight the outsiders.

This cycle has been repeated an unknown number of times and the so called "elites" in America have followed along in the groove destroying the middle class and the economy in pursuit of wealth and control.
