I've had this pop up periodically over at least the last few years. Does not seem to fit any of the profiles already discussed or I can find on line. Other than visual color there are NO other symptoms... does not itch, no bumps, no fluid, no scales, no pain, it's not raised, just discolored no discernible deference to the touch between discolored and normal skin areas...
Pink - brown patch(es), usually under both arms, (always) much larger under the left. Generally radiating in a solid non-circular patchy pattern. Current discoloration covers an area roughly 6" round so it is very noticeable (Left), on the right a much smaller area about 1.5".
Since I'm not a heavy sweat'er and frankly don't like the thought of chemically closing my pores I do not us deodorant so am pretty sure it's not a fragrance related allergy. Although the pictures I see online the visual is closest to "allergic drug reaction" but localized only to under my arms, I'm not currently taking any meds (or other drugs...).
I'll likely try some of the 1% cream discussed in other notes in case it is just dry skin (but no itch?). It was not showing last time I was in with the Doc for a physical and forgot to ask about previous episodes.
