Unable to download MMS messages???

I'm hoping someone here can help me. I've got a BlackBerry Pearl (not that I think the model matters), but lately it's been next to impossible to download MMS pictures etc. that my buddies are sending me. I get the "Could not retrieve message content. Try again later." message and no matter how many times I try it will never download the message. Do any of you guys have a solution to this problem or is this just another one of the many issues T-Mobile has?

That used to happen to me. All I would do was click retrieve message and it would soon come up after waiting, but who wants to do that?

In the last week we got snow and I had this issue still am in my area but if go about 15 miles north works fine. One think I found to work was when I first turn on phone and have lower case edge if I go to retrieve message the mms would work don't ask me why but t-zones would work too. Once I get cap EDGE mms and t-zones stop working hope this helps.

I still have the original operating system, 4.21 I believe. I downloaded the latest Rogers OS, but haven't installed it yet do to the fact I'm intimidated by it. Do I just go into the file and delete the Rogers files before uploading the OS to my phone?

My wife is having the same issue with her Pearl 8110 from AT&T.. She's unable to receive or send MMS messeges. I feel your pain Jimmy....
