Unable to convert FLV to AVI for creating subtitles for a video?

I downloaded a YouTube video (.FLV), and I'm trying to create subtitles for it. In order for me to open the video in a subtitle making program, it can't be in .FLV format. I've tried coverting it to .AVI through Pazera, but I just get unsupported codec messages.

How can I successfully convert my .FLV to .AVI in order to open it in "SubtitlesSync" (subtitle making program)?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You can use the third software Video Converter, it can convert .FLV to .AVI and it's easy.
