can somebody explain me whats WU and when i finished 400 what will happen :smilie4:
so far i did 14/400 but still my name is not listed in team list, and suppose if i shutdown my pc what will happen,
sorry things r so confusing :lol:

I assume the windows client is optimized for Intel CPUs by default, and therefor Intel-based rigs don't need many switches.

Running Folding@Home has shown that AMD CPUs are awsome performers, but they need to be cared for, like any race-horse :rolleyes:

Folders on AMD CPUs have to find out which switches work best for them.
When you do want optimum performance you need a very stable machine with good cooling.
When you don't want optimum performance, you could fold without using a switch at all.

But, if you can't accept Lamsey outranking you ( like I can't ), you'll need the switches or a whole lot more machines. :01:

Congrats on the 14th place. With only 1 computer folding im folding like a turtle lately. :(

edit: Wtf is up with the code thing. If it's going to show the end result then what's the point. :dry:
 
a tip here for anyone going to download a batch of timeless F@h tinker units. make sure you remove the -advmethods switch from the client when your run it to get the wu's or you will get a batch of the same WU, which are all the same, so will only get the credit for one.

i dont even think rookie has ever come in here....

we should do 2 things...

1. make a thread on lounge linking here and tell them to join
2. make a thread in everything related to board about the link beside the post count..
 
I suppose you are right, it just seems like so much of a waste to not do so... Oh well, I'll just stick to the three I own, and maybe try and convince my father to do it as well.
