Ultimate Guide To Folding@home

Has anyone tryed running this as a service in win nt/2k/xp?

Anyways here are some direction on how to do it. It seems to work for me. Don't blame me if your comp blows up or something if this does something weird.

First make sure the folding@home Client is properly setup.

Then download the consol version of the client and this. Make sure the consol client is working properly first (run it first).

1. Then make a folder somewhere on your hard drive e.g
 
yeah, the number will never change, but i can change the team name banner and website.
we could maybe have a few ideas and vote?

Of course you are, im not folding 24/7, just when my computer is on, which is afternoons during the week, and about 18 hours a day during the weekends.

Also, im going a big WU right now, should be finished by the end of the day.

i think the biggest ive had is a 2500, although i dont really notice must, just leave them folding.

look on the bright side we dont have to compete with the Politics thread anymore :D so atleast we accomplished one of our goals

i just got a WU with 2500 in it! thats a biggie....im at 525/2500 :P
also, will a faster CPU work these out faster? i currently run p4 1.4ghz, and in 2 days ill be running p4 3.2ghz.
