I'm sure theres an easier way to explain this prog.

To much abracadabra in this thread to me. Thanks to Slinger i had it working in a few minutes, while reading this thread only gave my headaches.

You have got to remember that theres a lot of foreign non geeks on this board who would like to contribute as well.

Just my 2 cents :)
if they don't understand they can post here and ask ;)

Thanks, especially thewizearsd.

You're just 63days away from lynx.
I've been slacking lately, sold a processor a few weeks ago but hope to replace it in a couple of days time, X64 system also been down for a couple of weeks because it's been so warm here. I'll soon jack those rates up to reasonable figures again.

congrats VB1234

I just joined this project, I'm gooman528 (from my e-mail addy), but can't yet see my name on the list yet, probably because i just started, i don't know.

Anyway, I got pentium 1.8 GHz, with 256 RAM

edit2: im also working on WU 858 which is a 2500, and is taking about 45min per percent, its huge, buts its worth 160 point. :D
What processor is that on?

I'm running 2 of those atm, it takes about 23 mins per % on my XP2500 (oc'd to XP3200) and about 35 mins per % on my XP1700 (not oc'd).

@FlyingDutchman: Better get ready to move to one side, don't want you ending up as roadkill.

yeah, thats right, you could also add -verbosity 9
it goves you more info in the logfile. also make sure you add it to the one in your startmenu/startup folder, as well as the folding@home folder.

edit: also looks like i may take the 2500th WU :01: got 1 with about 40 mins left.
