does anyone know if its possible o choose what wu u download.
To some extend, yes.

In the config-screen you can choose:

Genome@Home
Folding@Home
or no preference.

When you choose Folding@home you get mostly (or all) tinkers without any switches.
Adding the "-advmethods" switch will get you mostly Gromacs (when available)

Then there is a possibility to join the 'beta-team'.
Then you'll get to test the newest WUs.

Perhaps it's possible to configure your firewall in such a way that your machine can't establish a connection with the server(s) that hand out the WUs you don't want.

I somehow doubt this info is usefull to you :P

Fold on B)

I know, but sometimes by repeating the number, now and then and not just a link to the number, some members might then think, " I will try it too" untill they see lynx's and VB's scores of course..Perhaps there is a way of hiding them. :o

... Me myself, I know the number actually, it's 34905.

Ok,

Now I added a second rig to the Folding-community,
this time folding for team 34905 !

This might be my only chance to kick Lamsey's ass....

I assume you've all checked the Team statistics, and noticed that Lamsey isn't leading by THAT much :)

We still can catch him...

Han.

I just noticed that there are already 47 KLB members folding! Perhaps it would be a good idea to request a new members group, as it might encourage more members to start folding@home... :)

200 WU completed now. :)
Congratulations, VB1234 you really are shooting up fast! :)

Any chance that this could be pinned back in the lounge? It's so quiet in here...

I am now 4th on that list with a grand total of 15 points/24 hours :hooray:

Although considering how I started at midnight and now have 100 points, I'm not exactly sure how they're calculating that...

i am running,

what machines are you running Lamsey?

A WU is a work Unit. You have a tinker work unit and it will take you up to 4 days to complete. After you have completed it, it will be uploaded to the server and after a short time your name will appear among the team members names on the team page here http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py...e&teamnum=34905 Your score will be added to the team's score. Each work unit that you complete will be added to your name. Please read the guide at the beginning of this thread for more information... oh and welcome and thanks for joining our team!!! :)
