shouldn't he have.....? On reflection, if David Davis has resigned as a matter or principle, then shouldn't he have waited until the next General Election and stood against 'Home Secretary' Jackie Smith in her constituency? While yesterday I was mentally applauding David Davis for having principles, I'm today thinking what a stupid idea! It just goes to show that you shouldn't make such big personal decisions on the spur of the moment - David Davis is really not that important as an individual in the whole scheme of things. But what's your take on this and what do you think - do you think this has backfired?
